You know those catchy slogans that stick with you long after you’ve heard them? Well, they’re like the secret sauce behind every successful company. Ever wondered where you go when you’re “lovin’ it”? Or what you wear when you want to “just do it”? How about where you head to “eat fresh,” or where you find the “Happiest Place on Earth”? Chances are, you’ve already got the answers: McDonald’s, Nike, Subway, and Disney World, right? These slogans have become ingrained in our minds, effortlessly recalling the brands they represent.

Now, let’s talk Wendy’s. Remember that iconic Super Bowl commercial from 1984, “Where’s the Beef?” It’s been 40 years since that ad aired, and to celebrate, Wendy’s is serving up a special treat.

From February 5th to 12th, Wendy’s is giving customers a free Dave’s Single cheeseburger with any purchase at participating locations. Now, if you’re not familiar, the Dave’s Single is a quarter-pound of juicy beef topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, and onions, all nestled between a toasted bun.

But wait, there’s more! If you use the Wendy’s app to snag this deal on Super Bowl Sunday (February 11th), you’ll also enjoy free delivery. Just note, this offer doesn’t apply to third-party delivery services. And while there’s no specific minimum purchase required, you can only get one free burger per order and one offer per customer per visit. Though technically, you could swing by multiple times until February 12th for a few rounds of free burgers.

Now, for those feeling extra nostalgic, Wendy’s has teamed up with Homage, an Ohio-based apparel company, to release a collection of T-shirts paying homage to the iconic “Where’s the Beef?” commercial. This limited-edition lineup includes six designs featuring nods to the classic ad, as well as Frosty-themed tees and more.

And speaking of Frostys, Wendy’s started off 2024 by bringing back an old favorite: the Vanilla Frosty. It made its grand return to menus on January 8th, taking over from the Peppermint Frosty. Plus, the chain also announced a new addition to its breakfast lineup: the Breakfast Burrito, loaded with all your favorite morning flavors. Looks like Wendy’s is starting the year off on a tasty note, bringing back classics and introducing exciting new offerings.
